Austin Healey 3000 Mk 1 Four Seater BT7. Original UK RHD home market car which was built between 27-28th April 1960 and dispatched to Dunderdale & Yates Limited of Preston, Lancashire on the 26th May 1960. This is a genuine duotone Healey blue over ivory white car which has been off the road for the last 48 years when we supplied it to the current owner.
The vehicle has been fully stripped to a bare chassis substructure and the body and inner substructure have been restored. There is just a few bits of final finishing prior to pre paint preparation. The engine has been rebuilt by Clydesdale Classic Cars. All suspension and engine bay components have been stripped and refurbished. The remaining parts such as gearbox, differential, gauges, heater, radiator etc still require refurbishment / replacement where required.
Unfortunately due to a change in circumstances the owner has emigrating and the car is now offered for sale. It does come with a lot of new parts please see the images for all parts which were supplied to the owner along with pictures also showing all the new panels which were replaced during the body restoration. OCK 722 comes with a nice history file which includes the original green buff log book, a continuation book and heritage certificate. It is also supplied with original works type hardtop.
The next step for this Healey is paint, refit and trim. Please contact us to discuss this car which can be supplied in its current state or as a finished car to your specification. Delivery can be arranged at extra cost in out enclosed transport trailer.
This car is a superb example of a Big Healey and very rare being original UK RHD in the duotone blue over white paint scheme not to mention coming with original works style hard top and original log book. Cars like this don’t come up for sale very often. Serious offers are invited.
